Hugopad

The 8-kilometer walk starts at Tourist Info Boekhandel Brummelhuis in the center of Denekamp. From there, you follow the Hugopad towards Beuningen, then walk along the Dinkel River. Walking Network Routes

In addition to themed routes and adventure trails, Beuningen is also part of the Twente Walking Network. This network consists of junction points that you can easily connect to create your own ideal route, from a short walk to a full-day hike. From Beuningen, several walking network routes lead through forests, along the Dinkel, and across the rolling Twente landscape. Clear signs along the way make it easy to find your path and fully enjoy the surroundings.

Advantages: You choose the length and direction of your route, perfect for those who like flexibility or want a different adventure each time. With the East Walking Network map, all routes are clearly displayed—ideal for any walker.

Beuningen is the starting point for six circular walks shown on the walking network map. Distances range from just under 3 km to over 10 km. Whether you’re looking for a sporty long-distance walk or a more relaxed stroll, there is always a route that suits you.
