Written by Not everywhere does the cyclist get the attention they deserve. Enjoyable cycling starts with good cycle paths. In 2024, the municipality of Losser ranked 13th nationally in the Cycling Municipality elections by the Dutch Cyclists’ Union out of 342 municipalities in the Netherlands. We were pleased with this positive recognition and hope that many cyclists enjoy the Treasure Room of Twente. The beautiful nature and stunning surroundings do the rest to make cycling a pleasure.

Discover for yourself the beautiful cycle paths of the municipality of Losser through the varied, gently rolling coulisse landscape with hills, valleys, fields, meadows, old farmhouses, hedgerows, and forests. Such as the recently renewed Lagapad, where you follow the winding river the Dinkel, over the Paasberg and Tankenberg—the highest point of Overijssel—the beautiful nature area Lutterzand, or cycle through a hedge of blooming rhododendrons.
