Canoe trip on the Dinkel

The Dinkel is the most beautiful canoe river in the Netherlands. Meandering through forests, meadows and the beautiful nature reserve Het Lutterzand. Sometimes the Dinkel is just one and a half meters wide, on other stretches about five meters and only about ten centimeters deep. Occasionally you see a Kingfisher shoot by like a blue streak through the sky. Wagtails, bank swallows and cormorants are also regularly seen. It is a so-called primal river, looking just as it did hundreds of years ago.

There may be a tree across the water, in which case the canoes have to be lifted out. Or you lie flat in the canoe and sail under it!

On the dates to be reserved, they sail down the Dinkel at 10:30 a.m. for individual entries. Gather at starting point Restaurant Keet'n Zwart and sail through the Lutterzand to the Kribbenbrug near Restaurant Het Paviljoen. This trip takes about two hours, depending on the water level.
