Every year, the Dauwtrappersmis is held at the Brilmansdennen Open-Air Theater in Losser. Rise early, as the walk to the event begins at 7:00 a.m.. This traditional early-morning service is a perfect way to start the day in the peaceful surroundings of nature, combining reflection, music, and community spirit.

Dauwtrappersmis at Losser Open-Air Theater
At 7:00 a.m., a joint walk of over 1½ hours begins. This early-morning “dauwtrappen” walk is intended for the whole family—young and old alike.
Departure: from the entrance of the Open-Air Theater on Gildehauserweg in Losser. Registration: Not required, but appreciated. You can register via the Mariavlucht parish office by phone at 053 5361675 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., or by email at secretariaat@mariavlucht.nl .
After the walk, at 9:00 a.m., an Ecumenical service takes place in the Open-Air Theater, led by Rev. Hennie Marsman and Alfred Westenbroek. Both leaders plan to participate in the walk and will provide inspirational reflections along the route.
During the service, a collection will be held for charity. This year’s chosen charity is De Zonnebloem.
Musical accompaniment will be provided by the music association Excelsior. After the service, coffee and sandwiches will be served, offering a chance for a pleasant gathering—making for a lovely start to Ascension Day.
Parking: Visitors arriving by car can use the parking lot at the swimming pool on Bookholtlaan, which offers ample parking space.
